Exhibitions

Stage the Void 2024, London, England
I was selected as the only high school artist to be exhibited at London Asylum Chapel with artists from US, UK, Italy, and China, publicized by media like Tencent.

Solo Exhibition 2023, Wuhan, China
I curated an art exhibition Harmony Within at the Hubei Institute of Fine Arts with 20+ artworks I created throughout high school. I also coordinated finances to contribute all auction proceeds ($1200+) to a community outreach coloring book project.

Parables Coloring Book & Puzzles
I illustrated a coloring book that includes 6 parables illustrations with coloring pages, and summaries of the bible in English and original bible verses in Spanish. Last year, copies of the coloring books and printing cards were donated through the Mexico mission trip. After that, I expanded the project and coordinated the creation of those illustrations into the form of puzzles and t-shirts for children in El Salvador using proceeds from my art exhibition and internship. My initial goal was to make art more accessible and enjoyable for younger children. However, during my mission trip to El Salvador, I realized the potential of art to serve a much greater purpose. After returning, I contributed more t-shirts at my school's worship night and created a live art piece on-site, capturing moments of fellowship.

Theater Department Collaboration
I initiated the first art and theater department collaboration. As an art programmer, I was commissioned to design posters and flyers for plays. These posters helped draw student actors in addition during the initial stage of production, and also helped with marketing purposes to promote the play on the school's official social media and on-campus increasing the audience numbers of each play by 30% which then increased profit that can help with production cost. Each play would require a unique design and props that require high costs for mostly one-time use props, and I saw an opportunity to approach this challenge creatively by creating art functionally. As National Art Honor Society president, I encouraged our members to collaborate with students from the theater departments to develop appreciation and understanding for one another like fostering volunteer opportunities on stage design, painting sets, and creating props.

Christmas Card Design
Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son and shall call his name Immanuel. Isaiah 7:14
My oil painting was chosen for distribution to all staff and families of CLHS during the holiday season to convey warmth and joy, and also shared as postcards at UCI's Irvine Barclay Theater.

Commissioned Mural for Children's Hospital
I independently initiated and painted a mural for a children's hospital’s pediatric therapy center, serving kids with speech development challenges. I began by reaching out to the center with my art resume and portfolio. After discussing with the directors, I was commissioned to paint a whole wall with my design of a universe with flowing waves where children could explore like a sanctuary from restrictions.
